City tour, lunch, orientation and lecture by Dr. Rashidi.  Overnight in Vera Cruz.

Day 2, Sat, Jun 18:  After breakfast drive to town of Yanga for a moving libation libation and viewing of the statue of Gaspar Yanga–the most famous African freedom fighter in Mexican history.  Back in Vera Cruz visit the fortress of San Juan.  Lunch and overnight in Vera Cruz.

Day 3:  Sun, Jun 19: Day trip to Xalapa to visit the Anthropology Museum led by Dr. Rashidi.  See seven of the African Olmec heads and other ancient African artifacts.  One of the highlights of the trip.  Lunch in Xalapa.  Overnight in Vera Cruz

Day 4: Mon, Jun 20: Enjoy a leisurely drive from Veracruz (5 hours) to Oaxaca City.  Hear commentaries by UNIA & ACL President-General Senghor Baye-El, Runoko Rashidi and other members of the tour.  Do some shopping, lunch and city tour.  Overnight in Oaxaca City.

Day 5: Tues, Jun 21:  Visit the archaeological sites of Monte Alban and Dainzu.  Continue on to Costa Chica.

Day 6:  Wed, Jun 22: Visit the Black communities of Costa Chica and the nearby museum.  Drive to Acapulco.  Overnight in Acapulco.

Day 7, Thur, Jun 23:  City tour of Acapulco.  Lunch.  Afternoon and evening at leisure.

Day 8, Fri, Jun 24:  Flight from Acapulco to Guatemala City, tour Antigua and overnight in Guatemala.

Day 9: Sat, Jun 25:  Drive to Rio Dulce, visit the Garifuna people overnight.

Day 10: Sun, Jun 26:  Continue visit with the Garifuna people in the Southern Belize communities of Dangriga and Punta Gorda.  Overnight in Punta Gorda.

Day 11: Mon, Jun 27:  After breakfast drive to the archaeological site of Tikal, via Flores and Santa Elena, after lunch continue to Belize.  Overnight in Belize City.

Day 12: Tues, Jun 27:  City tour of Belize City, including national museum, lunch.  Public lecture by Senghor Baye-El and Runoko Rashidi.  Overnight in Belize City.

Day 13 Wed, Jun 28:  Visits and meetings in Belize City.

Day 14: Thur, End of tour.  Fly back to the US.  Extension for people who want to stay longer in Belize
