Marcus Garvey, “Look for me in the whirlwind or the storm!”

Family, when a person dies, whoever that person is–family member, activist, even Prince today–I never say rest in peace. Nor do I say rest in power. I don’t want the Ancestor to rest at all! I say, get busy! We need you more than ever! Work for us in the Ancestral realm! Don’t forget us! Garvey said “Look for me in the whirlwind or the storm!” He vowed to never forsake us and swore that even physical death itself would not stop his labors for African empowerment. That is what I am talking about. Spirit is very powerful. So I say, don’t rest at all! Get busy! We salute you and we need you like never before! Ase!
